Earth Energy Art

Hello, and thank you for visiting my website. I’m Kirstie, artist and creator of my small business Earth Energy Art.
I think some part of me has always known that I would be an artist but, it has taken me a while to finally get here.

The wonders of the natural world, often reimagined, are the main inspiration for my artwork. I love to use bright, bold and contrasting colours to explore the energies surrounding us and my chosen subjects – which more recently are usually birds or bees!

Art and creativity have always been a big part in my life. I have been painting/drawing/creating/making a mess since childhood. Making images appear from my imagination kept me busy for hours on end.

Creating new work helps me to explore my emotions when they can’t be explained by words alone. Painting is my calm, my relaxation and meditation. It makes me feel positive and most of all, happy.

I paint mostly with oils or acrylics as they give me the most freedom to experiment with. I often put the paintbrushes down and just use my fingers to paint, building texture and fun to my work.

It is one of my greatest joys to create pieces that speak to others and it thrills me to see my work go to new homes. I hope that through my work I can inspire positive feelings and emotions and most importantly make people smile

I hope that you enjoy your visit.
